I requested my payment, now what?

Step 1: Request review & approval

  • Your payment request is placed in a queue for review.
  • All requests are reviewed for:
    • Authenticity
    • Compliance
    • Fraud prevention
  • Tip: Make sure your Maven profile is accurate, including:
    • Name
    • Location 
    • Employment status
    • Current employer (if applicable)

Step 2: Processing timeline

  • Requests are processed weekly in the order received.
  • Allow up to 10 business days for full processing.
  • Important: No payments are processed between December 15 and January 7.
  • Tip: Virtual card rewards, if available, are typically processed faster than other payment methods.

Step 3: Tax compliance (if applicable)

  • Some participants, including U.S. persons, may need to provide tax identification information to comply with tax laws.

Step 4: Receive your payment

  • You’ll receive an email notification when your payment is processed or sent.
  • Payments are delivered securely to your selected method.
  • Virtual cards:
    • Can typically be used immediately upon activation.
    • May be used online at specific retailers (brand-specific cards) or anywhere accepted (e.g., virtual Visa).

Tips & Best Practices

  1. Double-check that your profile is complete and up-to-date.
  2. Choose reward types wisely if timing is important - virtual cards may be faster.
  3. Allow the full 10 business days for review before following up.
  4. Keep an eye on your email for approval notifications.
